CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Mike Clevinger is the only Indians starter with an ERA under 4.00 in the month of May. He'll take an ERA of 1.56 this month, and this season, into his fourth May start on Thursday night against the Cincinnati Reds.
So does he stay?
Corey Kluber, on the disabled list with a back injury since making his last start on May 2, will make a rehab start in Columbus on Thursday. If all goes well there, he should be ready to roll in June.
Then what? What do you do with the other five Indians who have been starting this month, especially if Clevinger, once Kluber is back, still looks like one of your five best?
