It’s not very often you hear the crowd at Progressive Field cheering sarcastically when Cleveland Indians ace Corey Kluber throws a strike, but it happened a handful of times in the early innings of the Tribe’s 8-3 loss to the White Sox on Wednesday.
Kluber struggled to find the strike zone from the get-go, issuing two walks in the first inning to go along with three hits. It was all downhill from there. The White Sox would continue to pile on top of their three first-inning runs, eventually chasing Kluber in the fourth with a 6-1 lead.
