The Cleveland Indians recalled starting pitcher Adam Plutko from Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday and sent outfielder Brandon Guyer to the 10-day disabled list as the corresponding move.
Plutko has spent most of his season so far playing for the Columbus Clippers. The 26-year old holds a 4-3 record in seven starts with a 2.25 ERA in 2018. Plutko is ranked fifth among pitchers in the International League in ERA, ranked first in WHIP, and is tied for fourth-most wins.
