The Indians have placed outfielder Ryan Raburn on the bereavement list and recalled infielder Zach Walters from Triple-A Columbus.
Walters will be appearing with the Indians for the third time this season. He is 4-for-27 in 11 games after starting the year on the disabled list with a strained right oblique.
Walters has hit .250 with 17 doubles, two triples, six home runs and 35 RBIs in 70 games for Columbus. The 25-year-old has played five positions this season: left field, third base, first base, second base and shortstop.
Raburn is hitting .283 with 13 doubles, five home runs and 24 RBIs in 67 games for the Indians this season.
