The news isn’t great on Indians two-time Cy Young award winner Corey Kluber, but it could be worse.
The team Friday officially placed Kluber on the 10-day injured list with a non-displaced fracture of his right ulna, the long bone found in the forearm that stretches from the elbow to the smallest finger.
Kluber was clocked on the forearm with a line drive during Wednesday’s loss in Miami to the Marlins, and right away he left the game.
The team stated that Kluber spent Thursday getting checked out at the Cleveland Clinic, having both an X-Ray and CT scan.
