Indians Pitcher Carlos Carrasco’s Next Start Pushed Back to Tuesday in Cincinnati

CLEVELAND – The Indians pitching rotation has been tweaked with the latest injury to starter Carlos Carrasco, who was pulled after just 3.2 innings in last night’s 8-7 win over the Tampa Bay Rays.

Manager Terry Francona stated on Tuesday that Carrasco will pushed back for two days, meaning that his next start won’t come until Tuesday when the Indians wrap up a series in Cincinnati with the Reds.

“The idea is to give him two days to let him be in the training room,” Francona said of Carrasco. “And then he will start his five days cycle up to pitching, which puts him the second day in Cincinnati.
