CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Indians today acquired OF COCO CRISP (#4) and cash from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for LHP COLT HYNES.
Crisp, 36, owns a career average of .266 (1561-5877) with 305 2B, 57 3B, 128 HR, 631 RBI and 868 runs scored across 15 seasons after debuting with the Cleveland Indians in August 2002. The Los Angeles, CA native spent parts of four seasons with the Indians, 2002-05, hitting .287 (467-1626) with 90 2B, 14 3B, 35 HR and 176 RBI in 415 games and finished tied for 5th in the American League with 42 doubles in 2005 prior to being traded to Boston that off-season.
