Indians Ink Free Agent OF Daniel Robertson to Minor League Deal; Outright Michael Martinez

The Indians today made two roster moves relative to the 2016 Spring Training roster.

First the team inked free agent outfielder Daniel Robertson to a minor league deal with a non-roster invite to Major League spring training camp.

The team also outrighted utility man Michael Martinez from the 40-man roster.

Robertson, who is 31, spent much of last season in Triple-A Tacoma in the Mariners organization, hitting .287 (117-408) with 19 doubles, 7 triples, 6 home runs and 46 RBI in 114 games (.357/.412/.769). He also appeared in 9 games with the Major League club in July, batting .
