Indians Get Enough Cushion For The Bullpen With 7 Runs, 15 Hits

Every starter in the Indians lineup got a hit Tuesday night, except for Melky Cabrera. The Indians’ fifteen hits, including home runs by Michael Brantley, Jose Ramirez, and Jason Kipnis, led to seven runs; enough to survive an appearance from the <cue horror movie music> bullpen. The Tribe, behind a solid start from Mike Clevinger, defeated the White Sox 7-3.

The day started rather oddly for the Indians. Early Tuesday afternoon rumors began to swirl online, started by a source in the Dominican Republic, that Jose Ramirez had tested positive for performance enhancing drugs, and an 80-game suspension was imminent.
