CLEVELAND – The Indians and General Manager Mike Chernoff today announced the following promotions within the club’s Baseball Operations Department.
Named Matt Forman Director of Baseball Operations, named Sky Andrecheck Senior Director of Baseball Research and Development and named Keith Woolner Principal Data Scientist, Baseball Analytics
The 2016 season will be Forman’s fourth with the Indians after joining the club in January 2013, spending last season as the club’s Assistant Director of Baseball Operations.
In his new role, Forman will continue supporting the day-to-day functions and decision-making of the Baseball Operations Department, including rules administration and interpretation, contract negotiations, arbitration, budgets, player evaluation and procurement.
