Indians pitcher T.J. House, who was tagged with the loss in last night’s game with the Toronto Blue Jays, was placed on the 15-day disabled list earlier today due to an inflamed left shoulder. As House is a lefty hurler, this could account for his ineffective pitching in the 2015 season. In four starts, House allowed 19 earned runs over 13 innings for an ERA of 13,15. That’s a far cry from the 3.35 ERA he posted in 2014.
As the club won’t need a fifth starter again until May 9, the Indians recalled Tyler Holt from the Triple-A Columbus Clippers to take House’s spot on the 25-man roster.
