It's been three years since a player last had 50 hits in a month. It is quite the accomplishment. It has been 10 years since a player has had 50 hits and 30 runs in a month. That too is pretty cool. Oh and while we are at it, no one in the history of the game has ever had 51 hits in the month of May.
