After the longest four months, possibly ever, Cleveland Guardians baseball is finally back on our TV screens, radios, and phone notifications. Although we’ve only seen two games so far, there’s been plenty of moments to be happy about.
Big Win on Sunday
While the team dropped the preseason opener versus the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday, they showed up big on Sunday. The Guardians closed out a huge 14-2 victory versus the Los Angeles Angels at Goodyear Ballpark. While starter Ben Lively didn’t have the strongest showing, giving up one earned run on five hits in two innings of work, the offense jumped on Angels’ starter Reid Detmers early for two runs on three hits.
