The Cleveland Guardians beat the Chicago White Sox in game two of the three game series. José Ramírez scored from third on a wild pitch, Austin Hedges walked twice and stole a base, and Carlos Santana hit another early April homer. During the game, not one but two White Sox players were injured, including the final out. White Sox right fielder Mike Tauchman rounded third to try and score the game tying run when he pulled up last minute with an obvious leg injury. Austin Hedges applied the tag to end the game. A win is a win, but no one wants to win like that.
