Giants 6, Indians 5: Josh Tomlin pounded in loss to Giants

Indians starter Josh Tomlin gave up five runs in the first inning of a 6-5 Cactus League loss to the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday in Goodyear, Ariz.

Jarrett Parker and Justin Ruggiano homered off Tomlin in the first and the Giants added another run in the second.

Tomlin allowed six runs on eight hits in three innings. He struck out two and did not walk a batter.

Bradley Zimmer doubled and drove in two runs for the Indians and is hitting .353 in the spring.

Jose Ramirez went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a walk for the Indians and is hitting .
