An unexpected rainout stopped us from seeing Gavin Williams return to action on Wednesday; but no need to worry, the Big Rig still got his first rehab start in on Thursday. Williams was a bit shaky, which is expected. He was on a pitch count, only allowed to throw 35 — so he ended the day throwing 1.1 innings and 32 total pitches. He gave up a few hard hits (one being a homer) and a walk, but his stuff was great.
