CLEVELAND, Ohio -- While those of us in Cleveland would rather forget Game 7 of the 2016 World Series, Hollywood is making it into a movie.
According to Variety, Radar Pictures, producers of such films as "Revenge of the Nerds" and "Runaway Bride," has acquired the rights to former Chicago Cubs catcher David Ross' book, "Teammate: My Journey in Baseball and a World Series for the Ages."
The movie reportedly centers on that memorable night last November at Progressive Field, in which the Cubs defeated the Indians, 8-7, in an extra-inning instant classic that ended the Cubs' 108-year championship drought.
