If you had your heart set on a Bruce Chen shirsey, you’ll be happy to know that those will be slashed in price in the near future as the lefty starter was designated for assignment earlier today. He is being replaced by Austin Adams, whose ERA of 1.93 is significantly smaller than the 12.79 Chen leaves behind.
So…there’s some good news for once. The Indians have won three of their last five games and have a chance to win consecutive games for the first time since April 8/9. Yes, it has been almost six weeks since us Tribe fans experienced a winning streak.
