Francona: Carrasco's next start pushed back a day (The Associated Press)

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Indians manager Terry Francona said pitcher Carlos Carrasco, who was struck in the face by a line drive Tuesday, will have his next start pushed back a day.

Francona said Carrasco will start Monday against the Chicago White Sox instead of Sunday, his regularly scheduled day, when the Indians play Minnesota.

Carrasco appeared in the Indians clubhouse Wednesday morning and was scheduled to speak with reporters following Cleveland's game against the White Sox.

Carrasco avoided any major injuries after being struck on the right side of the face with a line drive hit by Chicago's Melky Cabrera in the first inning of Cleveland's 4-1 loss.
