Baltimore didn’t exactly throw Kluber, Carrasco, Bauer, and Clevinger at Cleveland last night. Harvey, Sulser, Plutko, and Tate is what they had, so that’s what Ernie Clement was up against in his first-career start. Much more law firm-sounding than the former bunch, and Ernie took advantage.
Clement ended up on third base, meaning that 15 years from now he’ll talk about his triple, and 30 years from now it’ll have turned into an inside the park home run!
