CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Indians infielder Erik Gonzalez picked up his first big-league home run leading off the bottom of the seventh inning Thursday against Dodgers reliever Chris Hatcher.
Gonzalez hit the first pitch he saw from Hatcher 387 feet to the bleachers in left field.
Gonzalez, who was called up from Columbus on May 14, has appeared in 31 games for the Indians since making his debut in July 2016. He entered Thursday's game with a .273 average. The Home run also marked his second career RBI.
