Danny Salazar is congratulated by his teammates as he returns to the dugout in a 2-1 win over the Yankees
The Indians didn’t have much margin for error in tonight’s game against the Yankees, or in last night’s 16-inning 5-4 win. Even though they had to scrounge for runs tonight, it’s not like they didn’t have ample opportunities to break the game open against an often shaky CC Sabathia. In five different innings, the Tribe managed to get their leadoff man aboard; two different times they had the bases loaded with just one out. In both of the bases loaded opportunities, Chris Johnson grounded into an inning-ending double play.
