Danny Salazar, Cleveland Indians rebound after rocky start to beat Seattle Mariners, 4-3

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Once again the first inning did not treat Danny Salazar well, but on a chilly Saturday afternoon he did not let that spoil the rest of his start. Salazar allowed three runs in the first inning before the Indians rallied to beat Seattle, 4-3, at Progressive Field.

The Indians have won eight of their last 11.

In five starts this season, Salazar has posted a 14.40 ERA (eight earned runs in five innings). Poor starts often guarantee a starting pitcher a short game and a L next to his name in the box score.
