Corey Kluber Notches Win Number 20

Corey Kluber earned his 20th win on Monday night, the first Indians pitcher to do so since Cliff Lee in 2008.

On Monday night Corey Kluber became the first Indians pitcher to win 20 games since Cliff Lee achieved the feat in 2008. While I don’t put a ton of stock into pitcher wins, it’s still kind of fun to see a Tribe hurler reach the milestone. And the Indians’ 4-0 win over the White Sox showed some of the flaws in relying too heavily on pitcher wins.

Corey Kluber pitched a fantastic game, allowing just 4 hits, walking 1, while striking out 11 in 7 IP.
