Coco Crisp comes through for Cleveland Indians; turns one of baseball's biggest stages dark

BOSTON – Coco Crisp has nothing against the Red Sox. He played for them and helped them win a World Series in 2007.

What he likes is the big stage they play on. He particularly likes it in October when there are no small stages.

All of which gave the two-run homer Crisp hit in the sixth inning Monday night an extra jolt of electricity. It filled all the boxes.

Big stage: Check.

Big moment: Check.

Big win: Check.

"This means a lot simply because it's a big stage," said Crisp.
