CLEVELAND, Ohio - Indians first-round draft picks Clint Frazier and Bradley Zimmer have hit the ground running at high Class A Lynchburg.
Frazier hit safely in six of the team's first seven games and was batting .360 (9-of-25) with nine runs scored in seven games heading into Thursday night's home opener. Zimmer was hitting .280 with a home run and seven runs scored.
Frazier and Zimmer are splitting starts in center field and right field, a rotation that likely will continue as long as they are together in Lynchburg, according to Carter Hawkins, the Indians director of player development.
