Cleveland’s early training camp on hold due to COVID-19 concerns

With less than a day before players were set to begin reporting to a voluntary early spring training camp in Arizona, MLB has reportedly told Cleveland to hold off amid concerns over the number of COVID-19 cases in Arizona.

According to reporting from @IndiansPro on Twitter, Cleveland was planning to ramp up spring training in waves, starting with up to 10 players on Wednesday and as many as 40 by Jan. 23. Those plans have reportedly been put on hold for now.
