Cleveland Indians: Weather report for the 2017 home opener

Cleveland Indians fans who live near the shores of Lake Erie know just how unpredictable the weather can be in April.

That has caused some problems during home openers in the past, but today’s weather forecast looks to be a perfect one for some Indians baseball.

Cleveland weather changes about every ten minutes, but as of 12:30 p.m. ET, weather.com gives a 40 percent chance of rain from now until 4 p.m., although it drops off into single digits after first pitch.

40 percent does not mean it is going to rain, but it is always possible with the weather coming off the lake.
