Cleveland Indians triple down on Detroit Tigers, 7-4, for seventh straight victory

DETROIT – The Indians took their first look at Jordan Zimmerman this season and found it pleasing.

Behind four triples, including three in one inning, the Indians beat Zimmerman and the Tigers on Friday night, 7-4, at Comerica Park. The victory extended the Indians' winning streak to a season-high seven games.

The Indians used to play little brother to powerful Tigers. Just three years ago Detroit took the season series from them, 15-4.

Well, little brother isn't so little anymore. The Indians are 7-0 against the Tigers this season – 4-0 in Motown and 3-0 at Progressive Field.
