The Indians will promote starting pitcher Cody Anderson to make his MLB debut on Sunday against the Rays. The team has not yet announced who will be sent down in order to make room for Anderson on the roster, but the most likely candidates are relievers Kyle Crockett and Jeff Manship, who were each called up this week to help a taxed bullpen.
Anderson, a 24-year-old righty, was the organization's Minor League Pitcher of the Year in 2013, but struggled with Double-A Akron last year. This was has been a different story though, as he's gotten back on track with the best numbers of his career.
