The Cleveland Indians have announced that pitcher Gavin Floyd will be activated from the 60-day disabled list Tuesday. He’s currently on a rehab assignment, pitching for the Akron Rubberducks tonight.
After tonight’s rehab with AA Akron, Gavin Floyd will rejoin #Indians. Is expected to be activated on Sept.1 and will pitch out of bullpen.

This will be the first time Clevelanders will get a look at Floyd, who signed with the Cleveland Indians for $4 million (plus incentives).
