The Cleveland Indians sent shock waves through their fanbase Saturday by making one minor league deal. That deal was for 37-year-old outfielder Rajai Davis.
To the naked eye this signing is just another name fans would glance at on the bottom ticker on MLB Network. But to Indians fans, Davis will forever be immortalized. Two years ago Davis tied Game 7 of the World Series with a two-run drive off Aroldis Chapman.
Unfortunately, the Indians would end up losing that game. Life goes on and now after a year in Oakland and Boston, Rajai Davis is back with the Tribe.
