Cleveland Indians Sunday News and Notes: Tomlin pitches well in loss

Josh Tomlin wasn't the reason the Indians lost last night.

Last night's game

As Matt mentioned in last night's recap, this one was a case where nobody (aside from Francisco Lindor) looked good at the plate. Tyler Duffey's breaking pitches tied most of the lineup in knots, and even though the Minnesota rookie walked five batters, he only allowed one base hit in his six innings of work.

Meanwhile Josh Tomin made his 2015 debut and pitched pretty well. He made some mistakes that got hit hard and also made some mistakes that were missed, but on the whole it was a nice performance.
