The Cleveland Indians lost to the New York Yankees 7-6 in an extra-inning heartbreaker yesterday. Danny Salazar took the hill for the Tribe, and things did not go as well as in past starts. He allowed three runs over 5 2/3 innings, and another three scored on his tab after he left the game. On the bright side, he did strike out five Yankees while only walking two, although the eight hits pretty much negated that positive.
After typing the game in the seventh inning, the Indians managed to hold their lead until the 11th inning.
