Welcome back, Lonnie.
The Indians have recalled Lonnie Chisenhall from Triple-A Columbus to fill the open spot on the roster created by the Brandon Moss trade. Chisenhall was the Tribe's starting third baseman until being demoted in early June. At that time he was batting just .209/.241/.345, with only 4 home runs and 7 walks in 189 plate appearances. In Columbus since then, Chisenhall has hit ..280/.329/.420. Obviously that's a lot better than his MLB numbers this year, but those numbers aren't much to get excited about either.
Still, in a very hot/cold career with 1,404 plate appearances at the MLB level, Chisenhall has a wRC+ of 98.
