CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Catcher Adam Moore is back for his third tour with the Indians. They signed him to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training.
Moore, 32, has spent most of the last two seasons at Class AAA Columbus. Last year he hit .247 (74-for-299) with seven homers, 31 RBI and a .681 OPS for the Clippers. Moore played nine September games for the Tribe.
Seattle drafted Moore in the sixth round in 2006. He has played in the big leagues with the Mariners, Royals, Padres and Indians. In his longest stay in the big leagues, Moore played 60 games with Seattle in 2010.
