GOODYEAR, Arizona -- Mike Clevinger sounds like one of us when he talks about his first Major League training camp.

There was a chance to baby-sit Corey Kluber's kids...

There was the home run he gave to Alex Gordon...

There was his first strikeout...Melky Cabrera.

There was Cody Allen coming up to him after he was sent to the minors, telling him, "keep doing your thing, you'll be up here soon."

I talked with Clevinger in the Tribe's minor league camp. He is set to open the season at Class AAA Columbus.

As Manager Terry Francona said, "He's on our radar.
