On Friday, the Cleveland Indians inked their first round pick Brady Aiken. The real news,however, came today as it was finally made known just how much he signed for, which turned out to be $2,513,280.

As Callis said, slot for the 17th overall pick was $2,393,600. It was always assumed that Aiken would require the Indians to go over slot given his high ceiling and the fact that he was the top overall pick in 2014 (and turned down over $5M).
