Box Score · Clippers drift to 19-14
Tim Tebow hit a double and scored a run for the Mets, but he’s still only hitting .126 with an OPS of .393 so let’s just get that out of the way now.
Jed “Rehab Assignment” Lowrie and Carlos “Legitimately stuck at Triple-A now” Gómez led the way for the Mets, providing the bulk of their hits, RBIs, and runs. Rene Rivera added three hits of his own.
For Columbus, Oscar Mercado’s performance is the only one that stands out. He scored twice and logged three hits, one of which was a solo home run.
