Cleveland Indians' Michael Brantley named top left fielder by MLB Network

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Just think what he could have done with a sound back and two good shoulders?

Michael Brantley, who played with a variety of injuries last season, was named the top left fielder in baseball by MLB Network in its Top 10 Right Now series.

Brantley hit .310 (164-for-529) with 15 homers and 84 RBI in 137 games last season. He led the AL with 45 doubles, finished fourth for the batting title and posted a .859 OPS. He played with a balky back that bothered him from the first day of spring training and two sore shoulders.
