CLEVELAND, Ohio - Manager Terry Francona and Lonnie Chisenhall can't read each other's thoughts. They don't practice Vulcan mind probes on each other.
But they have been around one another long enough to have an understanding of certain situations that can arise in a baseball game.
In the fifth inning Thursday afternoon at Progressive Field, Chisenhall was in the batting cage behind the Indians' dugout at Progressive Field taking some swings. He'd just watched the Dodgers score three runs in the top of the inning to turn a comfortable 5-1 lead for the Indians into a one-run game.
