Yes, Cleveland Indians’ fans, we’re hitting that “early” panic button, at least in regards to the bullpen. That’s probably not the only place we need to be mashing it (Offense please?!), but it’s a start. But the start is with former Chicago Cubs closer Carlos Marmol. With covering the Cubs, I can tell you that this is a low-risk, high-reward signing for the Tribe. If he can find any semblance of the pitcher he once was, this could work out well for the Indians. BUT, it can also go horribly, horribly awry.
Marmol, now 32, last pitched in 2014 for the Miami Marlins.
