Cleveland Indians get another look at Mike Clevinger in 4-3 win over Seattle

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Starting pitching is the Indians' calling card. No secret there.

It's been on display all spring in Goodyear, Arizona, but Tuesday offered a glimpse of what kind of talent is positioned behind Corey Kluber, Carlos Carrasco, Danny Salazar, Trevor Bauer and others.

Bauer, still looking to refine his fastball, started and pitched three scoreless innings in a 4-3 victory over Seattle at at Goodyear Ballpark. Bauer had a quick first inning, but then started feeling for the strike zone. The good thing was the game never got away from him.

Then there was Mike Clevinger, a right-hander the Indians have been buzzing about since last year when he won the Bob Feller Award as the organization's top minor-league pitcher.
