Cleveland Indians designate Juan Uribe for assignment to make room for Andrew Miller, Brandon Guyer

So long, Uribe.

The Cleveland Indians have designated third baseman Juan Uribe for assignment, the team announced via Twitter. Uribe's roster spot on the 25-man roster needed to be cleared up for Andrew Miller, and his place on the 40-man roster for Brandon Guyer. Another move should be on the way to make room for Guyer on the 25-man roster, assuming the Indians want him playing in the majors right away.

Despite a streak of great hitting here and there, Uribe has not been effective for the Indians this season.
