Cleveland Indians Defeats Oakland A’s With Great Pitching

Cleveland Indians starter Carlos Carrasco was nearly lights out in a win against the Oakland A’s this evening. Carrasco (11-8) pitched a complete game, while giving up only two hits and striking out seven batters. His counterpart, Chris Bassitt remains winless on the season with a 0-4 record. Bassitt threw seven innings and gave up three runs and six hits. He also had six strikeouts. The Indians improved their record to 47-54, while the A’s fell to 45-58.
