In yesterday’s post, I paid homage to three Cleveland Indians legends whose bronzed statues will forever be on display at Progressive Field. In that article, I showcased their famed careers and highlighted all the baseball accomplishments they achieved. Now I would like to take the time to talk about one player in particular, and the courage, bravery and loyalty to his country that should never be overlooked.
Bob Feller‘s baseball career speaks for itself, but this all-star pitcher is a true Patriot. December 7, 1941, a day which will forever live in our hearts and minds; the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor and World War II followed.
