Cleveland Indians beat Toronto, 6-0, behind seven scoreless innings by Carlos Carrasco

TORONTO - It's always nice to have a pair of aces.

Carlos Carrasco, with No.1 starter Corey Kluber on the disabled list, did a good imitation of a staff ace as the Indians beat Toronto, 6-0, Tuesday night at Rogers Centre. Carrasco, Andrew Miller and Nick Goody combined to throw a four-hit shutout.

The Indians gave Carrasco a 2-0 lead in the second inning off emergency starter Mike Bolsinger. Carrasco took it and ran for seven scoreless innings.

After Darwin Barney's leadoff single in the third, Carrasco retired 13 straight. The streak ended when Jose Bautista singled with one out in the seventh to end an 0-for-21 slump.
