Cleveland Indians add reinforcements: Tyler Naquin, Tom Gorzelanny promoted from Triple-A

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Indians, in the wake of Marlon's Byrd's year-long suspension and some heavy use of the bullpen, made two roster moves before Wednesday night's game against Texas.

Outfielder Tyler Naquin and left-hander Tom Gorzelanny were promoted from Class AAA Columbus. Naquin was recalled to replace Byrd, who was suspended for 162 games for testing positive for the growth hormone, Ipamorelin. Gorzelanny had his contract purchased because he could have opted out in the near future.

Naquin, who opened the season with the Indians, was hitting .286 (20-for-70) with three doubles, one homer and eight RBI in 17 games at Columbus.
