CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Adam Plutko took home several baseballs on Saturday night.
Carlos Santana handed him one after he completed his first major-league inning on the mound. His wife also scooped one up.
Plutko pitched the eighth and ninth innings for the Tribe in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the White Sox. He allowed two hits and one walk, to go along with two strikeouts, in 1 2/3 scoreless frames. At one point during his outing, a foul ball snuck through the netting and dropped into the reach of Plutko's wife, Alison, who was seated behind home plate.
