CLEVELAND, Ohio – It took a while, almost 11 years, but Coco Crisp is back with the Indians.
The Indians completed a trade for the veteran switch-hitting outfielder Wednesday. They received Crisp and cash in exchange for minor-league left-hander Colt Hynes. Crisp has just over $2 million left on his current contract that paid him $11 million this year.
He is expected to join the Indians on Thursday and be added to the active roster on Friday.
Crisp, playing in his 15th season, was added to replace Abraham Almonte should the Indians reach the postseason.
